2023 commemorates the 150th anniversary of the death of Eduardo Rosales, who was one of the most influential Spanish painters who worked in the third quarter of the 19th century. 

The exhibition will display several newly restored works along with drawings and paintings in the Prado's collection that are not usually on public view. Also, two historical paintings whose whereabouts were unknown for a long time will be on display.
