Painting the figure takes on many forms, from classical academic realism to looser, brushier representations. It's time the figure received its own conference, a place for museum-quality figure painters — and those who strive to be - to gather to exchange ideas, learn from great masters, improve their painting skills, and form a community to carry the flag for realism.

Held on the East Coast of the United States at the prestigious and historic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida, the first annual Figurative Art Convention & Expo (FACE) is designed to be hands-on; attendees can paint, grow, and become inspired in a fun, non-stuffy environment. The Expo Hall will provide vendors who serve the figurative art community.
