Rosa Bonheur being a source of great inspiration for me . "The Golden Bell" is inspired by one of her paintings, "The Bull". The reference was taken during my stroll on the busy streets of Lahore at “Eid Ul Adha” celebration, a ritual that muslims perform every year. It honors the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son Ismail (Ishmael) ordained by God to fulfill His command in obedience. But right in the act of doing it, however, God replaced his son with a lamb which he was supposed to slaughter. In remembrance of this act, animals are ritually slaughtered every year.
