This self-portrait is part of a series of self-portraits for each season of the year. This painting celebrates my love of foraging wild mushrooms in the late summer. The King Bolete or Porchini mushroom grows wild in the mountains where I live above 11,000 feet. I like to also call this painting, "The King and Queen".
